Rules
(valid for 18 playing teams) Course:
| Friday: | 1. Round |
| So./Mo.: | 2. Round |
| Monday: | Final games |
1. Round:
We build two groups. Each group includes 9 teams and every team plays against the other 8 teams (= 8 games per group and team). To prepare the 2nd Round, the best 4 teams of each group and the best fifth team (= 9 teams) join the upper group, the other 9 teams join the lower group.
2. Round:
Again, every team plays against the other 8 teams in each group (= 8 games per group and team). Finally, every team has a temporary placement in its group.
Rules (1./2. Round):
Each game has two sets
Maximum 20 points each set. The sets have to be finished, when the time-limit is reached.
Time-limits: 15 minutes warm up + 15 minutes for the first set + 15 minutes for the second set
If time of play for one set is over and both teams are equal concerning set-points, the next point has to
bring the decision (every set needs to have a winner!).
Final games (3. Round):
The upper-group and the lower-group, both with their temporary placement, will join one big group containing 18 teams. Now the first four teams play against each other, followed by little groups fighting out the placements 5 - 7, 8 - 10, 11 - 13, 14 - 16 and 17 - 18.
Rules (final games, 3. Round):
Each game needs two winning sets, so, in case the score is 1:1 after the first two sets, one
additional final set has to be played.
Set 1+2: Minimum 25 points per set with a minimum difference of 2 points
Set 3 (final set): as set 1+2, but the maximum limit is 27 points, change fields when the first team gets 13 points
Time-limits: No time limits
